PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Wastewater aeration is the process of introducing oxygen into wastewater to facilitate the aerobic biodegradation of pollutants. Vertical shaft, low speed aerators are ideal for the bacterial oxidization of effluent by the transfer of oxygen from the atmosphere and to provide the necessary turbulence to maintain homogenization and mixing between the live medium.
ALVEO WATER DESIGN FEATURES
Alveo Water’s surface aerators provide highly efficient aeration, while maintaining sufficient mixing in the basin. Vertical shaft surface aerators consist of submerged or partially submerged impellers and above water gearboxes and motors. They are fabricated in various sizes, varying in impeller diameter and motor sizes between 7.5 – 90 kW.
IMPELLER DESIGN
Alveo Water‘s aerator impellers are rag free in design, have a high aeration capability for efficient oxygen transfer and produce a stable wave formation with a minimum of erratic splashing and negligible air bone mist.
