Parabolic Screens

PRODUCT NAME
Parabolic Screen

PRODUCT TYPE
Static Screening Equipment

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A parabolic screen is a static screen with now moving parts and a wedge wire screen face with a parabolic curve in it. The screening process involves a stilling basin in which the fluid rises and overflows from a weir and flows perpendicular to the parabolic screen. The water falls through screen and the debris remain on the screen. Due to the incline of the screen the debris slide into a screenings trough or drip tray. Because of the wedge shaped cross section of the wire the screen mesh is self-cleansing. Water spraying nozzles can be added to aid the cleaning.

ALVEO WATER DESIGN FEATURES

The screens come with various screen openings and design flows from 1mm to 400m3/hr capacity. The screens can be fabricated in grades 304 or 316 stainless steel.
