Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) has been the technology of choice in a wide range of industries over the past 20 years as a primary waste water remediation and product recovery solution. In simple terms, the organic contaminants in an effluent stream are coagulated and flocculated.

Chemical additives are used to produce solids and liquids. Microscopic air bubbles are then introduced after flocculation causing the contaminants to float. The floating layer is skimmed off and recovered or disposed of.
